ANSI/ASSP Z359.1-2020, the Fall Protection Code, is a comprehensive guide to developing an effective fall protection program. It is a free resource that aims to help employers purchase the right fall protection equipment for their employees and understand which standards apply to specific work situations. The latest edition includes updates to six standards, and a new standard on safety requirements for climbing ladder fall arrest systems.

The Regional Hispanic Contractors Association is offering FREE Fall Protection Classes. They are one-day two-hour courses being held virtually for 2021, and are available in English and Spanish. Upon completion of the course each student will receive a certificate of completion of the OSHA Susan Harwood Training Grant – Fall Protection.
