Safe + Sound 2019
OSHA’s Safe + Sound Campaign is back for its third year in 2019. The Campaign and associated Safe + Sound Week represent a nationwide effort to raise awareness of the value of workplace safety and health programs. These programs can help employers and workers identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness, improving a company’s financial bottom line. Anyone can participate in the Campaign by initiating, improving, or simply drawing attention to their workplace safety and health program. As part of the campaign, organizations are encouraged to host events and activities that showcase the core elements of any effective safety and health program, including: management leadership, worker participation, and finding and fixing workplace hazards.
For more information and ways to participate, visit OSHA’s Safe + Sound website. This year the Campaign will focus on management leadership in March and April, finding & fixing hazards in May and June, Safe & Sound Week in July and August, and worker participation in October and November.
